Sweet happy boy!

What a fabulous time I had with this sweet boy this weekend!  He is truly one of the happiest little fellas I have ever met!  I had the absolute honor of taking this little man's photos when he was brand new, and now again for his first birthday photos.  We had so much fun!  He even got to smash a cupcake or two!

Today's 2011 spotlight is actually a series of photos.  I looooove the story that a series of photos is able to tell.  My friend and fellow SAH/WAH mama is kind enough to do yearly swaps with me...she is my guru of graphic design and I happily take her family's photos at the beach each summer.  (I hope to continue this trend every year!!!)  I love these photos of Rebecca and her girls.  They are a close and playful bunch...as you will see!!!

Be looking for more of this super fun family....they let me do whatever I want...so naturally, I have LOTS of faves!  ;)

Friday Fave!

Another one of my very favorite shots from 2011.  This family also happens to be personal friends of ours...so I always enjoy taking their photos! 

This was taken at what is probably my very favorite place to shoot, the Howard County Conservancy.  I love it there!

I love how natural and joyful she looks in this photo.  Little ones don't always have to be perfectly posed and looking right at the camera to get the best shot!

Favorite of 2011

Winter weather is upon us (most days) and that means fewer photo sessions than usual.  Although it is perfectly timed, right after the busiest time, I do miss showing my wonderful clients' beautiful photos!  To remedy that, I am now going to share some of my favorites form 2011.  Ones that didn't make the blog or Facebook.  Ones that maybe aren't the family's favorites...just my personal favorites.

Today's image was the first one that popped into my mind when I thought of doing this series.  This photo is one of my favorites EVER.
